I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than in the gardens of The Crown at Banningham listening to DixieMix! Entertaining, both from a musical point of view and also the banter in between (and sometimes during!) the numbers. Thanks guys for a great afternoon – you’re all jazz geniuses!
August 7, Dolphin Inn Thorpeness, Private Function
Dear Simon,
Firstly I feel awful for not writing sooner - it has been a hectic week and today, being my actual birthday, is even more so - but I just had to make time to write.Thank you so much for playing at my party - everyone & I mean everyone, thought you were the highlight of the evening (wish I had booked you for the whole evening) - you were brilliant!! I know of at least 3 who will be contacting you for future events, so I am sure we will meet again before too long - otherwise it will have to be my next big bash!!!!!
Thanks again - with very best wishes to all the band - regards Liz

Many thanks for a great evening last Friday at Gayton Hall. Sorry about the rain - we had prayed! Pretty certain we raised over £3000 for our cancer charities.

New Season at the Reepham Kings Arms
Hey hey, DixieMix does it again!!! I can honestly say you made the sun come out of hiding on Sunday. We look forward to the summer courtyard jazz at the Kings Arms as the music is always good, but you have raised the standard by miles. This Sunday's concert was the best we have ever heard at this venue.

Maureen & Roger WebsterGill "vintagerockchick"Hi, I came along with my parents to see you at Oxburgh Hall on Friday, and I've done a little (tongue-in-cheek) review on my blog. http://vintagerockchick-gill.blogspot.comHope you find it mildly amusing (and aren't offended!) - it's obvious you all have a great sense of humour. It was a really good night - but I don't DARE let my rock mates know that! Although I suppose knitting isn't very rock'n'roll either.Gill x

Lakeside Success
Simon and Chris
This is a thank you from the Committee of the Dereham Jazz Society for the splendid gig you did for us at Lakeside. As you know, we present all sorts of jazz, but DixieMix is by far the most popular and entertaining traditional band appearing at the club. What a following you have too! Well done, and we will be booking you again in the new year.
